Roger has been Sports Director at KXAN since April 1995. He anchors the 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. weekday sports and co-anchors the Sunday Sports Section with Jim Matthews Sunday nights at 10:30 p.m.

He began his career as weekend Sports Anchor at KSBY-TV in San Luis Obispo, California (one of the country's hidden gems)

He was Sports Director at KLTV in Tyler, TX from June of 1987 to June of 1990.

Prior to arriving in Austin, Roger was Sports Director at KAKE-TV in Wichita, Kansas. He was also the television play by play voice for Wichita State basketball and baseball.

Roger is a 1985 graduate of Indiana University where he earned a degree in Telecommunications.

Roger and his wife Tammi were married in December 1988 and had their first child, Caroline, in July 1996.

In his free time Roger enjoys basketball and golf.
